Business use / SaaS / SMB Cashflow & Invoice Management / From scratch
This was a one week UX design challenge, focused on solving problems for a persona—Karen, a freelancer managing financial tasks on her own.
First, I conceptualised the persona, problem statement, and product usage (business requirement) based on the provided information to understand user and business requirements and define the key problems to solve. As a result, I created a mid-fidelity wireframe.

The user lacks confidence in managing her finances, being stuck with inefficient processes that make it time-consuming and difficult to manage her business. Despite receiving many client inquiries, she hesitates to accept new opportunities due to uncertainty about her cash flow.
Creating an solution for Small to Medium Business (SMB) owners by:
End-to-end process for payment receivables
Send automatic reminders
So users don’t need to worry about overdue or follow-up invoices
Provide basic insights into the user’s cashflow
So users are aware of finances before accepting any new project
Since this project doesn’t have a product as a reference, I hypothesised it as a new financial management platform for Small to Medium Business (SMB) owners.
The platform should enable users to manage invoicing with minimal time and effort, allowing them to focus on their business rather than of financial stress. It should also provide critical cash flow insights to help users feel more confident to pursuing new business opportunities.
This is a solo project, where I conducted the entire process from research to final design.
